The crawler trail

Rock gardens, inclines and technical obstacles built for low-speed precision — where patience and articulation matter more than horsepower.

An off-road truck kicking up dust on a rocky trail

The RaceRiots crawler trail is an off-road RC rock-crawling course on MC Road in Kottayam, Kerala, with rock gardens, inclines and technical obstacles. It is slow and forgiving, so it suits beginners and kids. You can bring your own crawler or rent a car.

What rock crawling is like at RaceRiots

The crawler trail is the off-road side of RaceRiots: rock gardens, inclines and technical obstacles where patience and articulation matter more than horsepower.

Crawling is slow on purpose. You pick a line, let the suspension flex over the obstacle, and feather the throttle to keep the tyres biting. It is forgiving for first-timers, which makes it a good place to start with RC.

Bring your own crawler or rent a car at the venue. If you want one of your own, the showroom stocks hobby-grade crawlers and the store has the parts to upgrade them.

Want to go faster? The drift track runs on asphalt across the venue.

Quick answers

Is the RC crawler trail suitable for beginners and kids?

Yes. The crawler trail is built for slow, technical driving that is forgiving for first-timers.

What is the difference between RC drifting and RC crawling?

Drifting is on-road: the car slides through corners on asphalt. Crawling is off-road: the car climbs slowly over rocks and inclines, and control matters more than speed.
